How to choose a cloud call centre and unified communications platform in Saudi Arabia
A practical framework for evaluating channels, call capacity, customer records, AI and total cost before choosing a platform for your team.

Start with what should happen when a customer contacts your business. Does your team mainly need to answer calls, or should it follow the same customer across calls, WhatsApp, email and chat, with a clear record and a person responsible for the next step? That distinction helps define the solution before you choose a provider.
UCaaS brings business calling, digital channels, customer records, service tickets, team tools and reporting into a unified communications platform. Automation, AI and additional services can extend that scope according to your requirements and activation. This guide is published by UCaaS to help you assess fit. It is not an independent provider ranking or a claim that one platform suits every business.
Bring one real workflow to the demonstration
Choose a recurring case your team can describe from first contact to outcome. A retail customer might ask a question on WhatsApp and call before completing an order. A service request might start with a call and require a ticket and another team's follow-up. A clinic might need to organise appointment enquiries while keeping medical records in its dedicated system.
Write down who receives the request, which information they need, who owns the follow-up and what completion means. Ask to see that workflow during the demonstration. It provides a practical way to evaluate the product's fit beyond a feature checklist.
Separate users from concurrent calls
The number of people who need platform access is different from the number of calls active at the same time. Ten users do not automatically require ten concurrent calls, and user subscriptions should not be assumed to include unlimited calling capacity.
Review peak traffic, inbound and outbound activity, transfers and queues. Specify the type of business number you need, or ask the team to confirm whether your current number can be connected and at what cost. The users and concurrent calls guide explains this distinction in more detail.
Choose channels around customer behaviour
Your first requirement may be calls and WhatsApp. Another team may also need email, SMS, live chat or social messaging. Use the UCaaS channels page to identify the relevant options, then clarify ownership, activation requirements and cost for each channel.
During the demonstration, check assignment, customer context, transfers between colleagues and supervisor visibility. Each channel's own requirements still apply. Bringing WhatsApp into a unified workspace does not remove its messaging rules or customer service window.
Evaluate features as a connected process
The features page covers the shared inbox, interaction history, customer records, tickets, teams, permissions and reporting. Pick the tools relevant to your case and examine the sequence: receive the request, identify the customer, assign an owner, follow the case and review its outcome.
If your workflow depends on an existing CRM, store or internal system, specify the system and the data that must move in each direction. An API does not establish that every integration is ready to use. Ask for the implementation scope, ongoing responsibilities and cost.
Assess an AI agent against a defined job
Choose a task such as answering service questions, gathering initial details or helping an employee draft a response. Specify voice or text, language, channel, response style and the knowledge the agent should use.
Bring three kinds of test question: one with a clear answer, one missing important information and one requiring a person. Review answer quality, clarification and the path back to your team. Discuss activated capabilities, action boundaries, setup and usage charges. An agent producing a reply is only one part of a useful customer experience.
Compare the complete cost
Check the pricing page for the current offer, then request an itemised view of your use case. Separate subscriptions, numbers, channels, call capacity, optional services, usage bundles and tax. Some charges recur; others depend on activation or consumption.
For monthly and annual subscriptions, compare payment timing, the amount due and the period covered. For seasonal offers, verify eligibility, validity and renewal terms. Avoid making a purchase decision from an old article or screenshot.
Use the same evidence when comparing providers
If you are evaluating an alternative to Ziwo, Bevatel, Maqsam or another provider, take the same workflow to each vendor. Ask for documented answers about channels, capacity, follow-up ownership, integrations, AI and total cost. Record the date and inclusions of each proposal.
Similar feature names do not establish identical scope. Missing information on a public website does not prove that a competitor lacks a capability. Seek clarification and compare what the documentation and demonstration establish. This guide does not assign unverified limitations or superiority to any named provider.
Prepare a focused request
Share your industry, the workflow you want to improve, team size, peak calling needs if known, current and required channels, business numbers, integrations, AI use case and intended start date.
You can paste these details into the message field when you contact the UCaaS team. They provide a practical starting point for reviewing service scope and preparing a proposal that reflects your team's requirements.
